Disclaimer

This page collects, in one place, the limits that appear throughout NestPatrol’s product and policies. It is part of our Terms of Service.

NestPatrol is not an emergency service

NestPatrol does not contact 911, police, schools, or any authority on your behalf, under any circumstances. Emergency SOS notifies the parent account only. If your child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Detection is not a guarantee

Safety alerts come from automated analysis of language patterns on the device. Automated analysis misses things that are worded differently and flags things that turn out to be jokes, lyrics, or homework. An absence of alerts does not mean your child is safe, and an alert does not mean something bad happened. NestPatrol supports parental judgment; it does not replace it.

Not professional advice

Nothing in NestPatrol, including AI summaries, the Safety Assistant, safety articles, and listed crisis resources, is medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and nothing is a diagnosis. Crisis resources are listed for information; NestPatrol has no affiliation with them and receives nothing for listing them.

Technical limits

Protection depends on Android permissions remaining enabled, the device staying online for updates to sync, and the child device meeting system requirements. A determined person with physical access to a phone can defeat any parental-control software; NestPatrol raises the effort required and alerts you to tampering it detects, and does not promise more than that.

Third-party services
