NestPatrol

Delete your account and data

You can delete your NestPatrol account and everything stored with it at any time. Here is how, and exactly what happens to your data.

Delete from inside the app

Fastest option. You stay in control the whole way.

  1. Open NestPatrol Parent and sign in.
  2. Tap Profile in the bottom bar.
  3. Tap Privacy, then Request data deletion.
  4. Choose whether to delete one child's data or your whole account.
  5. Confirm. You will get an email when the deletion is complete.

Delete by email

Use this if you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in.

Email us from the address on your NestPatrol account and include the word DELETE in the subject line.

support@nestpatrol.com

We verify your identity before deleting anything, so the request must come from your account email. We respond within 5 business days.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

What we keep, and for how long

A small amount of data stays after deletion because the law requires it or because we need it to prevent fraud.

WhatWhyHow long
Billing and transaction records Tax and accounting law 7 years
Security and audit logs Detecting fraud and abuse 12 months
Encrypted backups Backups expire on a fixed cycle 30 days

Retained records are stripped of anything that is not required for the stated purpose. Nothing retained is used to build a profile of you or your children.

Timing

Deletion begins as soon as we verify your request. Your account stops working immediately. All data listed above is removed from live systems within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days.

Remove NestPatrol from a child's device

Deleting your account does not by itself uninstall the app from a child's phone. To remove it:

  1. In NestPatrol Parent, open Family and select the device.
  2. Tap Unlink device. This lifts the uninstall block.
  3. On the child's phone, uninstall NestPatrol Kids in Android Settings.

If Protected Setup was used, the device must be unlinked before the app can be uninstalled. Contact support if you no longer have access to the parent account.

Delete one child's data without closing your account

Open NestPatrol Parent, go to Family, select the child, and tap Archive and delete data. Your account and other children stay untouched.
